Certificate Course in Optoelectronic devices and applications

Certificate Course in Optoelectronic devices and applications

The information display that is necessary for humans using the device relies on optoelectronics. This course introduces the students to the field of Semiconductor Optoelectronics, which deals with the physics and technology of semiconductor optoelectronic devices useful in consumer optoelectronics, ICT devices, and in industrial instrumentation. Assuming a general science/engineering undergraduate level background, the course begins with a recap of essentials of semiconductor physics, followed by the study of interaction of photons with electrons and holes in a semiconductor, leading to the realization of semiconductor photon amplifiers, sources, modulators, and detectors.

Certificate Course in Research Methodology

Certificate Course in Research Methodology

The goal of this course is to focus on research methodology, which is the most crucial aspect of research. The researchers will be able to create the best methodology for their research studies. The course's goal is to teach new students research techniques while also assisting established researchers in producing higher-quality research. The course structure was created so that students learning research methodology can progress from the Mugging Up Syndrome to a fun-practical approach; from a teaching process to an experimental process; from memorization to brainstorming; from passing an exam to learning from feedback; from knowledge transfer to knowledge creation; and from competitive learning to collaborative learning.

Ph.D. in Physics
